The strongest of the creatures tamed from the Rift World, Dire Wolves are lured through Rift Portals and subdued. They are useful allies for adventurers, especially warriors, because of their ferocious nature and deadly claws. The howl of the Dire Wolf is deafening, and can be so strong that the sonic waves can actually push enemies away from the beast.
